There are, however, severe shortages in professionals who can deliver quality services. In this article we describe the credentialing process and requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®). University training is now available in numerous states through BACB-approved course sequences. The growth of the BACB, an illustration of a university-approved program, and implications for treatment programs are discussed.
