[article]
Titre : Developing educational provision for pupils with autism spectrum disorders in the north of Scotland: a vision from the chalkface Type de document : Texte imprimé et/ou numérique Auteurs : Jackie RAVET, Auteur ; Meg TAYLOR, Auteur Année de publication : 2008 Article en page(s) : p.17-25 Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : PER Périodiques Résumé : This paper draws on two studies on educational provision for children with ASD living in Scotland. Findings of these studies were disseminated and discussed by delegates at a national conference, and action points emerged. These have been categorised to indicate the level at which action needs to be taken — the national level, the local authority level and the school level. It has the potential to be an extremely useful paper for planners, providers and parents alike as it could be used as the basis for auditing current practice and creating short- and long-term development plans both within Scotland and beyond.
