In this paper he describes the research he undertook with students from the university to gain an understanding of their experiences in Higher Education. He covers four key areas: transition, environment, social and academic. His paper highlights some positive experiences as well as negative experiences, and suggests areas for improvements. It is a small scale study, but the interesting results warrant further study from an independent research group.
