The memory impairments associated with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders (Down's syndrome, Williams syndrome, Specific Language Impairment, and attentional deficits) are discussed.
Methods: Methods of alleviating the adverse consequences of working and short-term memory impairments for learning are identified.
