Joan is also a trustee and volunteer for another local autism charity. She has experience working with a wide age range of peopie on the autistic spectrum. This paper reports on a study of 43 police personnel and the experiences of 11 individuals with Asperger syndrome (AS). It highlights the misunderstandings that can occur and the need for training.
