Their study is the second in our journal on the Incredible Years programme for parents of children on the autism spectrum. The Incredible Years programme was not originally designed for parents of children with autism, but has recently been adapted. This pilot study explores the acceptability and feasibility of the programme in the UK. When interventions are designed and tested in other countries (in the US in this case), it is important to test how it works in the UK, as we have a different school and healthcare system. The promising results in this small pilot study suggest that larger research studies are now needed.
