The article by Ng and Weisz () on how to build a science of personalized intervention for youth mental health is ambitious and wide-ranging, being packed with penetrating analyses and imaginative proposals that set the agenda for psychotherapeutic research for years to come. It is driven by the desire to make therapy more effective, and underpinned by the notion that if therapy can be fitted more closely to individual characteristics, results will be better. |
