Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : HAB-A HAB-A - Habiletés Sociales - Méthodes et Programmes Résumé : The title says it all! Super Skills: A Social Skills Group Program for Children with Asperger Syndrome, High-Functioning Autism and Related Challenges is SUPER at many levels. Based on a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the unique characteristics of individuals with ASD, Judy Coucouvanis presents 30 lessons grouped under four types of skills necessary for social success: fundamental skills, social initiation skills, getting along with others, and social response skills. Each lesson is highly

"I feel privileged to call Judy Coucouvanis my colleague and friend. We have worked together for more than 15 years serving individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families. This book is an invaluable guide to parents and professionals who help improve the social skills of children and teens with ASD. The book is clear, concise, practical, easy-to-read, and easy-to-use. The book is written after many years of clinical practice and successful results. It is written for practitioners who are interested in helping children and teens with ASD to develop social skills and to make a difference in their lives. This is a book to be read and practiced time and time again as children grow, change, and need higher levels of social skills. This much-needed book is a true gem."
